We were alerted to Ember's presence outside one of the local hospitals here in the Memphis area. She was limping when we found her and it was clear that she had been on her own for some time but when our volunteers arrived to get her, she smiled up at them with her precious under bite. She was ready to be saved. We took her to our vet to get her checked out and discovered that her limp was the result of an old injury and a bone chip in her shoulder. Over the following weeks our vet's office fixed her up and made her feel so much better.
This little brindle beauty was born around April of 2016 and is some sort of boxer/bulldog mix, as loving as she can be. She's been so loving towards other dogs, kids and people of all ages and would love a home with any of the above. She's not a fan of the kitty cats though. She also loves to snuggle and play.
Ember spent some time with a family and we learned that she is quite the social butterfly and would really thrive in a home with other pups to play with and take cues from! She is looking for a new foster home or even better, her forever family to call her very own!
