Judah has made a lot of progress since we first rescued him. Not only did he have to get healthy and overcome mange and heartworms, but he had to learn to trust people. He has had some wonderful fosters that have shown him so much love and helped him learn people aren’t scary and usually give him pets, cuddles, and treats. While children younger than teenagers still make him nervous, he loves meeting new four-legged friends, both dogs and kitties, and enjoys seeing his other Streetdog pals. Recently, Judah has made huge strides in showing interest in Kong toys and balls. As with many of our rescues, he didn’t quite know how to play since he struggled to just survive on the streets, so this is a big step for him. He’s a big fan of peanut butter and beef lung tips stuffed in his Kong from our pals at Hollywood Feed :) We’re still working on the “bring it back” part of fetch, but for now we’re just thrilled he’s exploring new things and having fun. When he’s not playing, this boy loves to snooze. He’s fine with just a 30-45 minute walk so if you’re on the hunt for a handsome, laid back boy, Judah would love to be part of your forever home.
