Update from a past foster: Lance is very loving and calm when he is in a house. He loves to lounge on the couch, chew bones, and go for walks. He is great with all people and I feel like he would be good with kids too. He’s not the biggest fan of other dogs and I think that’s the only reason he hasn’t been adopted yet. He’s a great runner and goes for runs with some of our volunteers but he is also perfectly happy being a napping buddy and laying in bed or on the couch with someone for hours. He knows lots of tricks including sit, shake, lay down, and roll over and will do just about anything to please you (or for a treat). I love my big baby lance!
Additional foster detail: Lance is Moderately active, ,Leash trained, Does well in a car, Likes to fetch, Likes toys, Obedient, Playful, Affectionate, Gentle, Goofy & Good running buddy!
"After what felt like an eternity on my own out on the streets I finally found a place to rest. I curled up in ball at St. Michael's Church to try to keep warm and rest my head for a bit when all of a sudden some people appeared out of nowhere and we locked eyes. I was wary at first but they invited me to get into their car and I settled in. I was very skinny and dehydrated. They let me recover in their home and I got all of the appropriate vet care that I needed to become healthy.
I'm great with kids, I love to run, kids and love a good chew stick. I like to play fetch and to cuddle in my foster human's lap. I would make the perfect addition to any household and hope to meet my forever family soon! I just know the perfect place for me is out there!"
Lance is currently looking for his next foster home where he can be the only pup. Fostering is fun, free and saves lives!
