Remus Lupin’s Story
“One hot August afternoon, I broke free of the heavy chain that had been keeping me inside a yard and decided to go exploring. I wandered into the middle of the road during lunchtime, and so many cars were driving around me without stopping. Finally one lady pulled over, and I was so hot and tired that I climbed right into her car as soon as she opened her door. My collar was so tight that I couldn't breathe very well, and it was digging into my skin. I went to the lady's home where she put a new collar and leash on me before taking me to the vet to be scanned for a microchip (I didn't have one) and given an exam. The doctor thinks I'm about a year old, Male, terrier mix and in pretty good shape considering I probably lived outside my whole life. I'm heart worm negative (yay!), have had all my shots now, gotten neutered and microchipped and I'm learning how to live inside a home with another dog and two kitties. I'm doing great with both! I'm such an affectionate gentle dude that I like all new friends that I meet - furry or human, canine or feline! I haven't gotten to meet any kids yet, but I've heard about them and I'm very much looking forward to meeting some and loving them just as much as I do everyone else!
Everyone I meet talks about how sweet I am and how pretty my eyes are. My foster mom says that I am very smart and love to give kisses. I like fetch and I like pets and naps in your lap! So far I haven't had any accidents in the house, and I'm doing great with crate training. I can't wait to meet my forever family!”
