Tanner James's Story
“One humid afternoon, I was scared and running in the middle of the road when a small car stopped. I didn’t think twice about hopping into the car when this guy opened up the driver’s door. He seemed nice but reluctant to take me in since he already had a couple of dogs at home. But he didn’t want me to get hit so he took me home and fed me some yummy food. I didn’t have a collar on so I went to the vet for a microchip check. My previous owners didn’t chip me so my finder tried very hard to find my owners but no luck. I got a big check up, all my shots, neutered and microchipped, and they gave me the official name Tanner James.
The vet says I'm about an 18 month old male lab mix and I've already proven jut how smart I am. In just a few weeks I've learned how to sit, shake and lay down. I'm conquering walking on a leash and potty training was a breeze.
I love to play with other dogs and meet new people. Those pesky squirrels though always know how to taunt me just right ;)
My foster dad says I’m a very good boy and says I deserve my very own family. So I can't wait to meet them so soon!
