Streetdog Foundation Foster Program
Streetdog Foundation does not have a facility, so we depend on volunteers to provide loving foster homes for our dogs while they wait to find the perfect family. Streetdog provides all of the food, toys, medical care and other needed items. Volunteers provide the love!
There are several options for fostering so that you can choose what best fits your lifestyle. Our Foster and Integration teams are ready to help you find the best fit and to help introduce a foster to any other pets in your household.
Day Trips: Our dogs in boarding long for companionship, so why not take them to a nearby park for a walk, to a dog-friendly patio for some lunch, or to meet up with some furry friends?
Weekend/Short Term Foster: When long term fosters go on vacations, or if a dog in boarding just needs a break, weekend fostering lets you spend time with a pup without the long term commitment.
Long Term Foster: Fosters open their homes for dogs until they find the perfect family. This can be several weeks to several months.
